Pam has always believed in the wisdom of the body. Her body has led her unerringly through the minefield of psychotherapies of the last 30 years. From Bioenergetics to various systems of family, couples and individual therapy, to becoming a master of Neuro Linguistic Programming to spending years at the feet of a Native American shaman, to a host of energetic and alternative therapies, her body has been a sure guidepost pointing her toward powerful healing and self transcendence.
Along with her husband Tom, Pam has moved off the reservation and deeply into the realm of inner healing. She believes fervently in the power of taking full responsibility for her experiences, and discovering how we create our life experience through our beliefs. Pam has brought the Felt Sense to Ask and Receive as a way of connecting the wisdom of the body with the wisdom of our larger being. She knows that the body holds the answers if we can just learn to listen.
Pam’s passion is helping others connect to their bodies: to their love, joy and purpose. Pam is committed to helping her clients to transcend limitations, be they physical, emotional or social. She helps people prepare for surgery, resolve trauma, anxiety, or depression, and to attract positive outcomes to their lives. In essence she helps people to heal. In addition to working as a board certified psychotherapist, Pam is a Life Mentor, Certified Interplay leader and creator of We Are Women Evolving (WWE), a group that fosters the new wave of feminism, helping women find their power and their joy through the feminine.
Pam divides her time between southern New Jersey where she loves to dance and play with Sandi Radomski, ND, LCSW, and Tucson, Arizona. She lives with her husband Tom Altaffer, LCSW, her son Alex and daughter Katherine.
