FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Can I do Ask and Receive for myself?

Yes, It is a simple, easy self treatment that you can  use for yourself at any time.

2.  How often can I do Ask and Receive?

As often as you like.  It can be likened to structured prayer.  I do not believe that there is any limit to how often one can pray.

3.  Can Ask and Receive be used on behalf of others?

Yes.  Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt who received the award as the top alternative doctor in the US in 2007, stated that Ask and Receive is the best distance healing he knows about.  We have reports of the elimination of many physical and emotional symptoms when done on someone’s behalf regardless of distance and even if the recipient is unaware of the treatment.

We teach the parents of autistic children to do Ask and Receive on behalf of their children.  For example, we have seen autistic children calm down and function during medical procedures and eliminate panic /fear reactions when their parents do Ask and receive for them.

4.  Do you need a religious/spiritual belief to benefit from Ask and Receive?

No.  Ask and Receive uses information from a person’s higher state of consciousness independent of any spirtual belief.  People of all spiritual persuasions have benefited from Ask and Receive.

5.  Should I be in a meditative state  when I do Ask and Receive?

As in all Energy Psychology techniques, it is helpful to be focused on the issues you are addressing.  However, it is not necessary to be in any particular meditative state when doing Ask and Receive.  It can be done at any time during your regular life day or night.

  1. Dear Sandi, This is Maya de Vries, EFT Master and BSFF Special Trainer from Cologne, Germany. I really like the A&R statements and I combine them with my BSFF cue. Since I use your statements in German, I have a problem with translating the first one. In (one or more?) of your videos you say the following “…. how to heal an release this …(problem)…, what it represents, all of its roots and its point of entry.” Could you please explain what you mean by ‘point of entry’? Is it rather the point in time or the point in the body/psyche/energy field/being (etc.)? German is a very descriptive and precise language and I would like to translate this important sentence just the way you meant it to be. Thank you very much in advance for your reply. Warmly, Maya

  2. I was curious about having a session that helps with attachments and jealousy towards an ex girlfriend that i have been dealing with for many years. How much is a session on that?

  3. Is it possible to combine Ask and Receive with EFT tapping?

    • Hi Stefan, Yes! We love EFT and many of our students come from the EFT world. We do often find that at some point people naturally let go of the tapping as their confidence in A&R increases, but they certainly do compliment each other!

  4. Is the ask and receive protocol free for use. May i use it for my clients who come to me for healing.

  5. How do i become a practitioner please?
