What is EFT?

Over fifteen years ago, Dr. Callahan discovered that all negative emotions are caused by disruptions in the body’s energy system. He then went on to discover ways of measuring and correcting these disruptions or imbalances quickly and reliably.  Dr. Callahan and others using his techniques (which he named Thought Field Therapy (TFTTM) report proven success rates of up to 97%.  Gary Craig (an engineer) who was one of Dr. Callahan’s first students was later able to further refine Dr. Callahan’s work to one comprehensive and easy-to-learn process called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

TFTTM has been helping clients for over 15 years, it is not until recently that traditionally trained psychotherapists have begun to see its value. In a recent comparative study of trauma treatments, TFT outperformed all other therapies examined.  This has lead to a surge of professional interest among knowledgeable therapists.
